WORKSHOPS INTRO TO SOLAR ELECTRICITY and SOLAR COOKING

Camp Us announces a six-day hands-on workshop in the village of Mayfield in the beautiful parish of Manchester, Jamaica. Attendees will learn the basic principles associated with photovoltaic (solar electric) systems and solar cooking. Attendees will install a photovoltaic system and construct a small solar oven.Camp Us, located high up in the hills north of Mandeville, is a learning center for people of all ages. It has been the home for Camp Us youth camps in partnership with Our Sun Solar.COST OF THE WORKSHOP IS US $375.
Attendees will tent camp on site. Bathroom facilities and showers are also on site. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. Meals will be available for purchase at modest prices.
